Earlier today, Goldwater Institute Senior Fellow Jonathan Butcher joined the Wake Up! Tucson radio show to talk about what school reopenings might look like when the academic year starts. Students and teachers alike struggled with adapting to online learning as the coronavirus crisis took hold, and now, schools and districts are currently grappling with the question of whether to return to physical classrooms come fall, or whether to continue with virtual instruction. Butcher discusses the possibility of reopenings, what the impact on the educational landscape might be, and what options families have to deal with the effects on their students’ education.
You can listen to the full segment with Butcher above. Also, in a recent In Defense of Liberty post, Butcher offered up three things that parents should know about reopenings—you can read that post here.
